HO - Head of Investor Relations
Summary
Head of Investor Relations is responsible for developing and executing the company’s investor relations strategy to ensure transparent, accurate, and consistent communication with investors, analysts, and other capital market stakeholders. This role serves as a key liaison between the company and the investment community, supporting fair valuation, positive market perception, and long-term shareholder trust.
Responsibilities:
Investor Communication & Engagement
- Lead all investor communications, including earnings releases, earnings calls, investor presentations, roadshows, and investor days
- Act as the primary spokesperson to institutional investors, analysts, and capital market partners
- Ensure consistent messaging aligned with company strategy, performance, and long-term vision
Financial & Strategic Storytelling
- Translate financial results, operational performance, and strategic initiatives into clear, compelling narratives for the investment community
- Partner with senior leadership to articulate equity story and investment thesis
- Prepare IR materials: fact sheets, press releases, FAQs, and investor decks
Market Intelligence & Analysis
- Monitor shareholder base, investor sentiment, analyst opinions, and peer performance
- Provide management with regular insights on market expectations and valuation drivers
- Track industry trends, competitive positioning, and macroeconomic developments impacting investors
Disclosure, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all stock exchange rules, disclosure regulations, and corporate governance standards
- Coordinate closely with Finance, Legal, and Compliance teams on public disclosures
- Manage sensitive information and insider information protocols
Internal Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with CFO, CEO, FP&A, Strategy, Legal, and Communications teams
- Support leadership during earnings surprises, M&A activity, or crisis situations
- Advise senior management on investor perception and communication strategy
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification is a strong advantage
- At least 10 years of experience in: Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, Strategy Consulting
- Proven experience dealing with institutional investors and financial analysts
- Experience in a listed company, IPO process, or capital markets environment preferred
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of: Financial statements and valuation, Capital markets and investor behavior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required)
- Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
- High credibility and confidence when engaging senior executives and investors
- Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills
