HO - Data Engineer (ETL Specialist)
Overview
Designing, creating, executing the process of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) to the Data Warehouse system, ensuring on‑time and reliable data source delivery to serve the management needs and business operations of the bank.
Main Responsibilities

Receiving and understanding business requirements.

Examine, analyze, and evaluate source data.
-
Map source data with the Data Warehouse.
-
Design, build, execute, and manage the data extraction process.
-
Design, build, and execute periodic & Adhoc reports.
-
Compare and check data accuracy.
-
Hand over source code and jobs to extract data to the Operation Department.
-
Join IT projects and perform assigned tasks within the project scope.
-
Perform other tasks assigned by the team leader.
Requirements
1. Educational Qualifications
-
Graduate majoring in IT or MIS.
2. Relevant Knowledge / Expertise
-
Knowledge of banking (products, services, processes).
-
Knowledge of MIS, Data Warehouse.
-
Knowledge of database management and data mining.
-
Knowledge of Data Model, Dimensional Model.
-
Proficient in programming languages: C#, VB.NET, SQL, PL/SQL, Visual Fox.
-
Proficient in databases: Oracle, SQL Server, Visual Fox, MS Access.
-
Proficient in ETL tools: DataStage, SSIS, ODI, Informatica.
-
Ability to use Data Modeling tools: Erwin, Power Designer.
3. Skills
-
Foreign language: English (can read documents and communicate).

Skills in using support software: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project.

Strong communication capability.

Skills to collect, filter, analyze, and evaluate information.

4. Relevant Experiences

At least 2 years of working experience in banking data processing or related fields in MIS / Data Warehouse.
